Sinopsis:
The plot follows young Jing, a girl born in a fishing village, who loses her hearing in early childhood. Jing lives with her divorced mother and stepfather. But her sour relationship with her stepfather soon prompts Jing to choose to live with her grandfather and uncle, who are fishermen. Jing finds solace in her young uncle’s fishing boat, but the relationship soon turns incestuous. She moves in with her father and his pregnant younger girlfriend Mei. The two women become close, and their relationship helps Jing open up.
